Kevin HO is Co-Head of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice and a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. His main areas of practice are corporate governance and compliance, regulatory compliance, and corporate advisory, covering both public and private clients.
Kevin graduated with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and sits on its Bulletin Committee.
Significant transactions that Kevin has been involved in include acting / advising for the following:
- Singapore compliance counsel to Thai Beverage Public Company Limited ("ThaiBev") in the share swap by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, InterBev Investment Limited ("IBIL") of IBIL’s entire shareholding stake in Frasers Property Limited to TCC Assets Limited, in exchange for a corresponding stake in Fraser and Neave, Limited. This deal, which was valued at over S$2 billion, won multiple awards and commendations from various publications. He also advises ThaiBev regularly on SGX listing compliance issues on various matters, such as the acquisition of a significant stake in Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Sabeco) for approximately VND109,965.6 billion (approximately US$4.8 billion) and the acquisition of Myanmar Supply Chain and Marketing Services Co., Ltd. and Myanmar Distillery Co., Ltd. for approximately US$742 million.
- State Alpha Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of China Everbright Limited, on SGX listing compliance aspects relating to the mandatory unconditional cash offer for Ying Li International Real Estate Limited for approximately S$147 million.
- Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited on SGX listing compliance aspects of the joint venture between its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Leone Investments Pte. Ltd., and StarHub Ltd to form Ensign InfoSecurity Pte. Ltd., a pure-play cyber security firm that offers bespoke, end-to-end security solutions to enterprises and governments globally.
