QUAK Fi Ling is Co-Head of the Private Equity and Sustainability & Responsible Business Practices and a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Her main practice areas are mergers and acquisitions, privatisations, private equity investments and corporate and commercial transactions.
Fi Ling has been described as someone who has "in-depth knowledge", "able to negotiate well" and is "commercial and calm under pressure". She has been praised for being "smart and a strong negotiator" as well as "highly appreciated for her comprehensive advice which addresses risks that can be overlooked by others".
Fi Ling guest lectures on the module for Entrepreneurship in Singapore – From Cradle to Grave, at the Singapore Management University and is also the Co-Chair of Cross-Border Investment Committee of The Inter-Pacific Bar Association. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.

- MRI Software LLC in the proposed acquisition by its wholly-owned subsidiary ("Offeror") of Anacle Systems Limited ("Company"), a company incorporated in Singapore and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, by way of a scheme of arrangement under the Companies Act 1967 of Singapore. MRI Software LLC is held by TA Associates, GI Partners, Harvest Partners and its management team. TA Associates, GI Partners and Harvest Partners are each U.S. private equity firms based in the U.S..
- Keppel Ltd in relation to the proposed sale of the entire issued share capital of M1 Limited to Simba Telecom Pte. Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Tuas Limited), for an enterprise value of S$1.43 billion, subject to post-completion adjustments. The deal marks the first consolidation in Singapore’s telcommunication history following years of liberalisation.
- Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (“EYSI”), the target, in the sale of all of its majority shareholder’s (Righteous Crane Holding Pte. Ltd. (“RCH”)) shares in the capital of EYSI to Soar R2M Pte. Ltd. (the “Offeror”) (the “Acquisition”).RCH is an investment holding company owned by a fund managed by Tower Capital Asia Pte Ltd., an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, and certain members of the founding Eu family. The Offeror is a special purpose vehicle which is to be jointly held by Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd..
- 65 Equity Partners (a Temasek-backed investment firm) ("65EP") in its investment of S$100 million into Hi-P International Pte. Ltd. ("Hi-P"), where 65EP will help develop plans for new strategic focus and leadership succession for growth acceleration and sustainability and for Hi-P to tap on 65EP's extensive network to bolster its board of directors, enroute to its goal of a potential public listing in the future.
- SATS in a proposed partnership between SATS and Mitsui, whereby Mitsui will invest S$36.4 million for a 15% stake in Food Solutions Sapphire Holdings (“HoldCo”), a holding vehicle established by SATS. HoldCo will acquire interest in four SATS’ subsidiaries that undertake food solutions businesses in Singapore, Thailand, India and China respectively. The partnership will focus on expanding SATS' food solutions business in key Asian markets through certain joint initiatives and allow HoldCo to leverage on Mitsui’s global network of retailers, manufacturers and F&B players and SATS’ expertise in the entire process, from raw material procurement to end-customer delivery.
- Stonepeak in its investment into AGP Sustainable Real Assets, a group which finances, develops and operates sustainable real assets in the power, infrastructure and built environments across various regions, including India, Britain, Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific. Stonepeak is a leading alternative investment firm, specialising in infrastructure and real assets.
